Lawn & Landscape Services
Reliable Property Care, Built Around Long-Term Relationships.
King Cut Lawn Care provides recurring lawn maintenance, seasonal cleanups, landscape bed care, and selected turf improvement services for homeowners who want dependable, professional care throughout the season.
Our focus is ongoing property maintenance—not one-off landscaping projects. We work best with customers who value consistency, communication, and a team that gets to know their property over time.
For most new customers, the relationship begins with recurring lawn maintenance. From there, additional seasonal and property-care services may be added based on your needs, our availability, and the working relationship we build together.
Professional maintenance. Seasonal expertise. Personal communication.
Recurring Lawn Maintenance
Consistent care, adjusted to the season—not just a fixed mow-and-go routine.
Most of our lawn maintenance customers are scheduled for recurring weekly service throughout the growing season. Each visit includes mowing, string trimming, and stick edging to keep the lawn and surrounding borders clean and consistently maintained.
We adjust our approach throughout the season based on growth, weather, turf health, and property conditions. That may mean changing mowing height, mulching or bagging clippings based on conditions, or occasionally skipping a visit when mowing would be unnecessary or could damage stressed or saturated turf.
For most new customers, recurring lawn maintenance is the best place to begin. It gives us regular time on the property to learn its growth patterns, access needs, seasonal changes, and the details that help us provide better care over time.
What’s typically included
Recurring mowing during the active growing season
String trimming around structures, trees, fences, and landscape beds
Stick edging along sidewalks and driveways
Seasonal mowing-height adjustments
Clipping management based on conditions
Weather- and turf-health-based service adjustments
Seasonal Cleanups
More than leaf removal—seasonal cleanup designed to leave the whole property clean, crisp, and ready for what comes next.
Our seasonal cleanup service removes leaves, sticks, acorns, and other accumulated debris from turf and accessible landscape bed areas, then finishes with mowing, string trimming, and stick edging when conditions allow.
A key part of our process is turf cleaning. Using high-powered backpack blowers, we work across the lawn to lift and remove the smaller material that often gets left behind after basic leaf removal—sticks, acorns, loose debris, and other buildup that can settle into the turf over the season.
This extra step takes more time, but it is one of the reasons a completed King Cut cleanup looks noticeably cleaner and more finished. It also helps reduce buildup through winter and gives the turf a cleaner start in the next growing season.
In spring, the focus is on clearing winter debris and preparing the property for growth. In fall, the focus shifts toward leaf management, turf cleaning, and winter preparation.
What’s typically included
Leaf and seasonal debris removal
Cleanup of accessible landscape bed areas
Turf cleaning with high-powered blowers
Collection of sticks, acorns, and accumulated organic debris
Mowing, string trimming, and stick edging when conditions allow
Hauling and disposal of standard yard waste
Need more than one cleanup visit?
Some properties benefit from multiple cleanup visits as conditions change, especially during heavy fall leaf drop. We can evaluate whether a multi-visit approach makes sense for your property. Yearly Yard Package customers receive ongoing seasonal cleanup care as part of their broader property-management plan.
Mulch & Landscape Bed Care
Cleaner beds, sharper edges, and seasonal care designed to keep the landscape looking intentional—not overgrown.
Our landscape bed services are typically centered around mulch and bed preparation rather than isolated one-time weeding or pruning visits. We clean and prepare accessible bed areas, address existing weeds and debris, refresh borders, and install mulch to improve appearance and make the beds easier to maintain through the season.
Weed management is most effective as an ongoing process—not a single visit that permanently eliminates weeds. Depending on the scope of the service, we may combine hand weeding, targeted treatment, and prevention to reduce weed pressure and help maintain cleaner beds over time.
Pruning and trimming are often coordinated with this work as well. Shrubs and ornamental plants can be shaped, cleaned up, and managed for health and appearance when included in the approved scope.
Mulch depth, material selection, bed condition, existing growth, and property needs all influence the final recommendation. Rather than applying the same process everywhere, we adjust the service to what the landscape actually needs.
What’s typically included
Bed cleanup and preparation
Removal of existing weeds and seasonal debris
Weed prevention and/or targeted control when included
Bed edging or border refreshing when included
Mulch installation
Pruning and trimming when included
Standard material delivery and cleanup
Most non-package landscape bed work is performed as part of a mulch and bed-preparation service. Yearly Yard Package customers may receive broader seasonal bed care based on their individual package and property needs.

Turf Improvement & Specialty Care
Targeted services for established properties that need more than routine maintenance.
King Cut offers selected turf-improvement and specialty services for established customers when the property, timing, and scope make sense. These services are more specialized than routine mowing, cleanup, or mulch work, so we generally recommend them only after we’ve had time to learn the property and build a working relationship.
Our current focus includes services such as core aeration, overseeding, starter fertilization, and other targeted turf or bed improvements designed to strengthen existing conditions, address problem areas, or support long-term property health.
Because these services often depend on weather, soil conditions, equipment, timing, and follow-up care, we evaluate them individually rather than treating them as a standard menu that can be scheduled at any time.
We also occasionally coordinate small property-improvement work for established customers when it fits within our maintenance-focused approach. Our goal is not to become a general landscape-construction company, but to support the properties we already care for with practical improvements when we are the right fit.
What may be available
Core aeration
Overseeding
Starter fertilization
Small turf repair or improvement work
Limited bed or property improvements
Other selected specialty services based on scope and availability
Specialty work requires more planning, property knowledge, and follow-up than routine maintenance. For that reason, these services are generally reserved for established King Cut and Yearly Yard Package customers.
